It’s CTE Month-DECA is an association of international marketing students and there is a chapter at Ridge.  Happy CTE Month!

The freshman girls basketball team had a great come from behind win over Boulder Creek last night. They were down 14 points at halftime and came back to win 47 to 43. The team was led in scoring by Shayn Carter with 17 points and Payton Pasinski with 9 points. Isa Skinner and Puneet Kaur had some great defensive plays to close out the game. Great job ladies!

Girls basketball is having an informational Parent meeting for all who want to play Spring and Summer basketball this offseason.  Tonight (Wednesday) at 6pm in D105 -the classroom next to the gym.

Jamba Juice is back and will be here for both lunches every Thursday selling your favorite flavor for only $5.  Get yours before they sell out and make sure to dispose of it before entering the buildings before class.

Be sure to order your Cookie Bouquet for Valentine's Day in the student store.  Only $5 for balloons and cookies to be delivered to your BFF or special someone on Valentine's Day.  Make someone's day by ordering yours today! See a DECA member if you have questions.

Attention Juniors - ASVAB test is this Thursday, February 6th at Mountain Ridge! Those who had signed up to take the ASVAB test, will need to report directly to the auditorium this Thursday at 7:30AM. Attendance will be taken.

SPRING SPORTS are around the corner, tryouts begin Monday February 10th. Make sure you are cleared through the athletic office by Friday February 7th. Go to mrhsathletics.com for more information.

Sophomores interested in being the MRHS ambassador at the HOBY State Leadership Seminar this summer should email Ms. Dyal at sarah.dyal@dvusd.org or stop by the counseling office. The cost is $225. Please notify the counseling office by February 1st. 

The 3rd Annual Ridge Run 5k is Saturday February 22 at 8:00am. Go to mrhsathletics.com for more information or stop by the athletic office to pick up a flier. Cost is $20 for all DVUSD students and $25 per adult, come out to this great event and support your Ridge athletics!

Seniors, as you receive scholarship awards from universities or foundations, please inform the counseling office so we can celebrate your success at the Senior Honors and Awards Ceremony. Please bring a copy of the scholarship to the counseling office or email it to sarah.dyal@dvusd.org by Friday, March 13th.
