In their first speech and debate tournament, with very little experience, two teams impressively made it to the quarter finals this weekend at the Scorpion Spectacular. Our competators that advanced were Liam Nelson and Jack Gregor in Public Forum along with Evrim Gulser and Kaleb Jewett, debating Big Question.

Varsity boys basketball Beat O’Connor Friday night 48-40 at OC in front of a packed crowd. With Ridge up by 2 points & 3minutes left, we made a run & ended up pulling away winning by 8points . Our JV team lost by 1 point & the freshmen team won by 20 points.  Great job boys basketball! Next game is home Tues vs Chaparral.

Jamba Juice is back and will be here for both lunches every Thursday selling your favorite flavor for only $5.  Get your's before they sell out and make sure to dispose of it before entering the buildings before class.

The Freshman Girls Basketball team beat O'Connor on Friday night 40-27. The team played great defense. Puneet Kaar led the team with 10 points, Shayn Carter had 8 points and Alyssa Fraulino had 8 points and 8 steals. Great job ladies, way to Beat OC!

We are hosting a fundraiser to help the wildlife and people suffering from the devastating Australian fires. There will be collection jars in all English classes, and you can come on out to the grassy knoll all week to participate in some fun activities! All proceeds go to vetted charities!

SPRING SPORTS are around the corner, tryouts begin Monday February 10th. Make sure you are cleared through the athletic office by Friday February 7th. Go to mrhsathletics.com for more information.

The 3rd Annual Ridge Run 5k is Saturday February 22 at 8:00am. Go to mrhsathletics.com for more information or stop by the athletic office to pick up a flier. Cost is $20 for all DVUSD students and $25 per adult, come out to this great event and support your Ridge athletics!

Seniors, as you receive scholarship awards from universities or foundations, please inform the counseling office so we can celebrate your success at the Senior Honors and Awards Ceremony. Please bring a copy of the scholarship to the counseling office or email it to sarah.dyal@dvusd.org by Friday, March 13th.

Attention Freshman and Sophomores! A large number of you have not chosen courses for next year. Please go to powerschool through the internet (not the app) and click on course registration and choose your courses for next year. This needs to be done as soon as possible or your courses will be chosen for you! Thank you! If you have questions please see your counselor.

Attention students!!  Just a quick reminder that we do not accept food deliveries at the front desk from outside vendors.  If you place an order, it will be refused.  Thank you for your cooperation.
