The freshman girls basketball team improved to 9 and 1 on the season with wins over Shadow Ridge on Friday night by a score of 51-17 and a win over Pinnacle last night by a score of 28-20. The team worked hard defensively to get the win over Pinnacle. Mia Rodriguez hit a huge 3 pointer with a couple minutes left to seal the win. Great job ladies. Wish them as they take on Boulder Creek Friday.
"Best Buddies club will be meeting January 16th during acaprep in C113. Club members, please see Mrs. Plogman in room C113 to get an acaprep pass for the Best Buddies meeting."
Attention Freshman and Sophomores! A large number of you have not chosen courses for next year. Please go to powerschool through the internet (not the app) and click on course registration and choose your courses for next year. This needs to be done as soon as possible or your courses will be chosen for you! Thank you! If you have questions please see your counselor.
Both Varsity Basketball teams play Pinnacle on Tuesday night at Ridge. Varsity girls play at 5:30 and Varsity boys play at 7:00. Come out and support your teams! GO RIDGE!!
A representative from Coconino Community College will be presenting during AcaPrep TODAY, Tues the 14th. Coconino is in Flagstaff and they have a great transfer program to NAU. Students interested in hearing about this program and more should plan to attend this presentation. Get an AcaPrep pass from Counseling to attend.
A representative from Grand Canyon University will be presenting during AcaPrep on Thurs the 16th. Students interested in hearing about admissions, scholarship, housing, and more at GCU should plan to attend this presentation. Get an AcaPrep pass from counseling to attend.

Ridge Got Talent is Wednesday, January 29th at 7pm. If you know a teacher with a talent to share, please let the Principal Advisory Council members know or let Ms. Debbie Moore know.
There will be an informational meeting on the upcoming tennis season and tryouts, Wednesday January 15, right after school in Coach Singleton's room C108 All players interested in trying out for tennis this year should attend this meeting.
Just a reminder that we will hold senior meetings during ACAPREP on Jan. 28th for seniors last names A-K and on January 30th last names L-Z. Seniors will be called to the auditorium and the beginning of ACAPREP. These meetings will give you information regarding graduation and senior events that will be coming up.
DECA students that have signed up for District, make sure you pay your registration by January 14th. We will meet in the student store when the bell rings so come professionally dressed ON TUESDAY THE 14TH.
Girls Tennis meeting and signup up for all girls interested in this years tennis team will be on Wednesday, January 15th at 2:25 in room D105.
Attention students! Walking in the bus lanes at any time is strictly prohibited. Please remember to use designated crosswalks and sidewalks.
If you are interested in one of the Internship Programs for next year and have questions, come by room C103 and see Ms. Moore. There is an informational session during acaprep on Thursday January 16th or January 30th. Stop by the student store to pick up an acaprep pass. The internship class does count as a credit and your job or volunteer work is the homework. You will have late arrival or early release for this course.
