Now is the time to apply for the Prudential Spirit of Community Award. Go online to apply and then let Ms. Debbie Moore know that you have applied. spirit.prudential.com/  The deadline is November 5th.

Congratulations to our Marching Band for a fantastic performance Saturday night at the Corona del Sol Invitational. The Pride of the West came in 2nd place with a score of 84.5 and won the award for the Most Outstanding Auxiliary.

Don't forget, a representative from Pepperdine University will be presenting to students and parents this Tuesday, Oct. 22nd at 2:30pm in the Lecture Hall. There is no need to sign up, just show up after school to learn about the opportunities available at Pepperdine University.

On Thursday, Oct 24th representatives from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Seattle Pacific University will be on campus during AcaPrep to present information to students. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn what these universities can offer you. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office to attend.

We are still in need of blood donors for the blood drive on Tuesday.  You must schedule an appointment in Mr. Prey's room C209. Thank you!

DECA scholarship window is open.  Over $300,000 dollars are up for grabs!  Get online and apply TODAY!

Save the date:  Ridge got Talent is Wednesday, January 29^th at 7pm.  This is a talent show where the teachers will be performing for your votes!  If you know a teacher with a talent to share, please let the PAC members know or get in touch with Ms. Moore know.

To celebrate the Food Drive going on right now StuGo has come up with a spirit week. Each day will have a specific item to bring in, and the first hour class that brings in the most each day will get a prize.

Tomorrow is “The Incredible Bulk” so bring in bulk food (rice, flour, beans, etc).
Wednesday is “The AmeriCAN Way” so bring in cans.
Thursday is “Thirsty Thursday” so bring in water
Friday is “Fiesta FriYAY” so bring in all nonperishable items.
There will be daily prizes for the 1st period that brings in the most of that item that day.  Go Ridge!
