Now is the time to apply for the Prudential Spirit of Community Award.

TONIGHT is DIG PINK Breast Cancer Awareness night at girls Volleyball as they take on Liberty, matches begin at 4:00pm. Come out and support your team and this worthy cause. GO RIDGE!
To celebrate the Food Drive going on right now StuGo has come up with a spirit week. Each day will have a specific item to bring in, and the first hour class that brings in the most each day will get a prize.
The week of October 21-25 Monday is “Money makes the world go ‘round” so bring it money.
Tuesday is “The Incredible Bulk” so bring in bulk food (rice, flour, beans, etc).
Wednesday is “The AmeriCAN Way” so bring in cans.
Thursday is “Thirsty Thursday” so bring in water
Friday is “Fiesta FriYAY” so bring in all nonperishable items.
There will be daily prizes for the 1st period that brings in the most of that item that day. Also rumor has it OC is doing pretty well, so we need to step it up this last week and beat OC! Go Ridge!
SAVE THE DATE: Ridge Got Talent is Wednesday, January 29th at 7pm. This is a talent show where the teachers will be performing for your votes for a charity's benefit.
If you know a teacher with a talent to share, please let the Principal Advisory Council members know or let Ms. Debbie Moore know.
We are in need of blood donors for the blood drive on Tuesday. You must schedule an appointment in Mr. Prey's room C209. Thank you!
Due to the Thursday half day, Jamba Juice will be here for both lunches today selling your favorite flavor for only $5. Get yours before it sells out and make sure to dispose of it before entering the buildings before class.
HOBY Leadership Conference, Sophomores interested in being the MRHS ambassador at the HOBY State Leadership Seminar this summer should pick up an application in the counseling office. The cost is $225. Applications are due by Friday, November 15th.
Congratulations to our Pride of the West who competed this weekend at the Rock the Ridge Invitational! We came in 1st place and swept all captions winning awards for Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance, Outstanding Auxiliary, Outstanding Percussion and Outstanding General Effect.
Thank you to students, staff, parents, and alumni who showed up on Saturday, and to all who worked behind the scenes for months to prepare for our hosting of the 3rd Annual Rock the Ridge Marching Invitational! Our Ridge Roadies are the best, thank you ALL!!!
Representatives from the University of Arizona Honors College and College of Engineering will be presenting to interested students during AcaPrep on Tuesday, Oct. 22nd. This is your chance to learn about these specific UA colleges. Be sure to sign up and get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office to attend.
Girls Basketball will have a informational meeting about tryouts TONIGHT, Wednesday (16th) after school in Room D105. Any girl wanting to try out for basketball needs to be there!! Girls need to be cleared on RegisterMyAthlete.com, and the athletic office. Tryouts start Nov.4th
