Stop by the gym lobby on your way into school to grab an iced or hot coffee for sale on Wednesdays. The grab one after school in the same gym lobby.

Featuring the Ridge Roast!  It is the best way to get your milk for the day!!

Milk---It does a body good!

 

Congratulations to Mrs. Bondi's period 1 class for bringing in the most books for the book drive. They brought in 249 books and won a donut party! Honorable mention goes to Mr. Dragomir's period 1 class for bringing in 178 books. Thanks for all classes who participated.

 

Blood Drive: We Need YOU! The Fall Blood Drive is Tuesday, October 22nd. You need to be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. In order to donate schedule an appointment in Mr. Prey's room C209. Thank you!

 

The girls badminton team is 8-3 and ranked #4 in the state. Varsity players include Kaitlin Tucay, Morgan Pearson, Shivani Bahl, Ali Roskelley, Ali Pedersen and Samantha Rawson. The team has two home matches this week on Tuesday and Thursday, and would love to have you come watch them as they close out the season.

 

What a great weekend for Ridge sports!

 

Girls Badminton played in the DVUSD Invitational Tournament on Friday and had three girls take 1st place. Congratulations to Shivani Bahl, Ali Roskelley and Samantha Rawson.

 

Girls Volleyball played in the Nike Invitational on Friday and Saturday coming back from losing their first game to win 6 in a row to win the Opal division, Jordan Kress was named MVP and Alissa Uhlenhop was named All Tournament. Shout out goes to the entire Varsity team for their hard work and determination! Great job ladies!

 

Varsity Football took on the Liberty Lions Friday, coming back from a double digit deficit to beat the Lions in an exciting double overtime 39-33. This awesome win puts our Mountain Lions to a 5-2 record going into their next game this Friday at Pinnacle. Way to go guys!

 

Freshman Football moved their record to 5-1 with a huge victory over Liberty 67-43. Great games were had by Luke Bender, Alex Doost, Christian Aguilar, Jaron Winters and Aiden Brogan. Congratulations!

Tonight - Badminton against Boulder Creek - it's teacher appreciation night, matches start at 3:30.

 

Thursday - Badminton against Sandra Day O'Connor - it's SENIOR night, matches start at 3:30

 

JV Football against Pinnacle - game starts at 6:00pm

 

COME OUT AND SUPPORT YOUR TEAMS!

 

The admissions representative from GCU will be on campus during AcaPrep on today, Oct. 8th. She will be able to answer any questions about the admissions process, scholarships, campus life and more. Make sure to stop by the Counseling office to get your AcaPrep pass today!

 

Food Drive- Food Drive is in full swing.  Don’t forget things such as rice and flour are inexpensive and worth a lot on the can counting guide.  So keep bringing in that food!  Let’s show OC that they can’t compete with us on or off the field.

 

The DECA scholarship window is now open. Over $300,000 dollars up for grabs!  Get online and apply NOW!!

 

Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors are invited to a field trip to tour West-Mec Northeast Campus on Wednesday, October 9th from 9am-11am. Please sign up in the counseling office to attend.
