The girls badminton team beat Chaparral and Chandler last week. The team is 7-1 on the season. Varsity winners include Kaitlin Tucay, Morgan Pearson, Shivani Bahl, Ali Roskelley, Ali Pedersen and Samantha Rawson. The Mr. Poppers team award went to Cassidy Korman and Crystal Bellew for their exceptional play

Congratulations to our Mountain Ridge Swim and Dive Team! The girls won it all with a score of 131 against Centennial's 101 and Shadow Ridge's 90. The boys took second with 114 behind Centennial's 140 and crushing Shadow Ridge's 55. Come support them at their next meet against Liberty on October 8. Go Ridge!

Join us at Culvers Restaurant on 83rd Ave and Deer Valley on Thurs., Sept. 26 from 5:00-8:00. Take a picture of the gold flier in your teacher's classroom and show it to the cashier at Culvers. Proceeds will benefit Educators Rising. See you there!
Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors are invited to a field trip to tour West-Mec Northeast Campus on Wednesday, October 9th from 9am-11am. Please sign up in the counseling office to attend.
Attention students going to the Homecoming dance. This year, all attendees need to sign a Homecoming Dance Code of Conduct form. It will be on our website for you to download on Monday September 9th 2019. If you are bringing a non-Ridge guest, you will also need to download a guest form off of our website. Guests will also need to turn in a Dance Code of Conduct form. Forms need to be turned in to the conduct office before students can purchase a ticket. Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door. Again, tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.
All tickets need to be purchased before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27th. Please wait to buy guest tickets until you have confirmed your guest has been approved. Approval lists will be updated at lunch daily, and held at the bookstore. All forms will be turned in to the conduct office. Remember, you MUST have your student ID in order to get in the door. Guests need their ID, as well.
Students who are in possession of anything related to vaping/tobacco at the dance will not be allowed into the dance, and will be suspended off campus the following week. Seniors who are off-campus suspended will lose the privilege to walk at graduation. Thank you for following all school and district expectations.
Educators Rising challenges all students to bring in new and gently used books to your period 1 teacher to be donated to less privileged schools in the Deer Valley district. We also accept cash! $3=1 book. The class with the most books and donations by Fri., Oct. 4th will win a donut party!
