Attention all students planning to graduate in the spring, there will be a graduation meeting about ordering caps and gowns and other information held during government AND economics classes on Friday, SEPT. 20TH. If you do not have a govt/econ class this semester, you NEED to come to the BOOKSTORE and receive a pass to attend one of these meetings.
Every Thursday, Jamba Juice will be here for both lunches selling your favorite flavor for only $5. Get yours before it sells out and make sure to dispose of it before entering the buildings before class.
FCA will be hosting its second huddle of the year this Thursday in the small gym during aca prep. GCU will be our guest and donuts will be provided.
Are YOU interested in learning about and raising awareness for mental health? Join us for our first Active Minds meeting this Thursday during Acaprep. Make sure to pick up an acaprep pass from C204 to attend, we hope to see you there!
A representative from U of A will be on campus Thurs, Sept 19th during AcaPrep. If you want to hear more about the opportunities available at U of A or have questions to ask the rep, be sure to get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office to attend.
Homecoming Spirit Week starts next Monday! We have the results of Homecoming Royalty Nominations. Also, tickets go on sale today for the Homecoming Dance “There’s No Place Like Homecoming”. Make sure you get your code of conduct forms turned in before you can buy your tickets. The dance is on Saturday, Sept. 28th at Glendale Civic Center from 7-10pm and tickets are $25 for a single and $40 for a couple. Tickets are available at the bookstore during lunches so beat the crowd and get yours early!! Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Okay, now it is time to reveal who YOU nominated for your Homecoming Royalty Nominees. Voting will take place Friday in your Language Arts classes.
For Freshman Attendant: The boys are Brendan Anderson,
Hayze Comstock and Jaron Winters and for the girls, Anna Peace, Cameran Ritzler and Carly Shull.
For Sophomore Attendant: The boys are Anthony Bever, Brodey Sanchez and Hershal Singh and for the girls, Kiley Hawkins, Stella Wesson and Madison Zelez.
For Junior Attendant: The boys are Gavin Anderson, Drew Carpenter and Suraj Elango and the girls, Emma Brownstein, Jalyn Criswell and Nici Kraft.
For Senior Attendant, the boys are Gavin Allen, Tommy Ellis and Keegan Stancato and the girls are Jordan Kress, Jennifer Littlepage and Tatum Simonetta.
For King: Josh Heinz, Bryan Myers and Kyler Stancato
For Queen: Olivia Anderson, Emma Hebert and Alexa Shafer.
Congratulations to all our nominees! Make sure to vote for your favorites on Friday. Also don’t forget to dress up next week, we start off with Munchkin Monday, PJ day and little kid on Monday!

HOSA Brusters Ice Cream Fundraiser: Do you love ice cream? Stop by Bruster's Real Ice Cream at 51st Ave & Bell on September 17 from 5-10 PM. Mention Mountian Ridge HOSA to help our organization raise money for events this year.
Attention students going to the Homecoming dance. This year, all attendees need to sign a Homecoming Dance Code of Conduct form. It will be on our website for you to download on Monday September 9th 2019. If you are bringing a non-Ridge guest, you will also need to download a guest form off of our website. Guests will also need to turn in a Dance Code of Conduct form. Forms need to be turned in to the conduct office before students can purchase a ticket. Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door. Again, tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.
All tickets need to be purchased before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27th. Please wait to buy guest tickets until you have confirmed your guest has been approved. Approval lists will be updated at lunch daily, and held at the bookstore. All forms will be turned in to the conduct office BEFORE SCHOOL, AFTER SCHOOL OR DURING LUNCH. Remember, you MUST have your student ID in order to get in the door. Guests need their ID, as well.
Students who are in possession of anything related to vaping/tobacco at the dance will not be allowed into the dance, and will be suspended off campus the following week. Seniors who are off-campus suspended will lose the privilege to walk at graduation. Thank you for following all school and district expectations.
