Tuesday 9/10/2019 Announcements

Boys Soccer: Boys that are interested in trying out for the soccer team need to attend a meeting after school on Wednesday in CC409.

There will be a meeting in room CC 401 for any girls interested in playing soccer this year on Thursday, September 12 at 7:00 am. If you cannot attend this meeting, please see coach Evans for information.

Girls Badminton vs. Corona Del Sol Tonight 9/10 3:30 pm & Thursday 9/12 against Valley Vista at 3:30 pm.

Freshman Football: Wednesday against Cesar Chavez 6:00pm. 

Varsity Football is a WHITE OUT Friday 9/13 against Cesar Chavez at 7:00pm.  Wear white and support Mountain Ridge.

Reminder, for Varsity Football Games: Students may ONLY be dropped off on Patrick Lane by the Basketball / Racquetball Courts.

College visits:  On Thursday, Sept 12^th reps from Glendale Community College and Ottawa University will be on campus during AcaPrep to provide you will more information about their school. Ottawa is a 4-year university with a campus in Surprise. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office to attend either of these presentations.

Homecoming Dance Announcements:  This year, all attendees need to sign a Homecoming Dance Code of Conduct form.  It will be on our website for you to download on Monday September 9th 2019.  If you are bringing a non-Ridge guest, you will also need to download a guest form off of our website.  Guests will also need to turn in a Dance Code of Conduct form.  Forms need to be turned in to the conduct office before students can purchase a ticket.  Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.  Again, tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.

All tickets need to be purchased before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27th.  Please wait to buy guest tickets until you have confirmed your guest has been approved.  Approval lists will be updated at lunch daily, and held at the bookstore.  All forms will be turned in to the conduct office.  Remember, you MUST have your student ID in order to get in the door.  Guests need their ID, as well. 

Students who are in possession of anything related to vaping/tobacco at the dance will not be allowed into the dance, and will be suspended off campus the following week.  Seniors who are off-campus suspended will lose the privilege to walk at graduation.  Thank you for following all school and district expectations.
