Avalon Cosmetology Presentations:  There is still time to get an AcaPrep pass to hear from a representative from Avalon School of Cosmetology. This is a local Cosmetology program and they do offer financial aid. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office today to attend!

Congratulations to our Mountain Ridge Swim and Dive Team! The girls beat Deer Valley 107 to 80 and the boys won 115 to 48! Their next meet is against Boulder Creek and O'Connor in Anthem on Sept. 12th.  Go Ridge!

The girls badminton team defeated Mountain View 5-4 varsity and 5-4 JV. The team is 3-0 on the season. Varsity winners include Kaitlin Tucay, Morgan Pearson, Shivani Bahl, Ali Roskelley, and Ali Pedersen. The Mr. Poppers team award went to Morgan for her dominance in singles and doubles.

Boys Soccer Text: Boys that are interested in trying out for the soccer team need to attend a meeting after school on Wednesday in CC409.

Football Games: Students may ONLY be dropped off on Patrick Lane by the Basketball / Racquetball Courts

DECA is going to the AZ Science Center and the Dbacks game for the Fall Leadership Conference.  AND WE WANT YOU TO COME!! Come by the Student Store for details to sign up for the Sept 24th event.  Only $25 for the conference, science center, Dbacks, pizza dinner and transportation.  You do not have to join DECA...yet.  Come Try it before you Buy it! Deadline is Sept 9th!!

Come by the student store to try a new drink in the student store. Celsius fitness drink is now available for $2.75.  It contains zero sugar, no artificial preservatives, flavors or colors. Not a trace of high fructose corn syrup or aspartame. Celsius is Certified Vegan. Celsius is Gluten Free.

Attention students going to the Homecoming dance.  This year, all attendees need to sign a Homecoming Dance Code of Conduct form.  It will be on our website for you to download on Monday September 9th 2019.  If you are bringing a non-Ridge guest, you will also need to download a guest form off of our website.  Guests will also need to turn in a Dance Code of Conduct form.  Forms need to be turned in to the conduct office before students can purchase a ticket.  Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.  Again, tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.

All tickets need to be purchased before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27th.  Please wait to buy guest tickets until you have confirmed your guest has been approved.  Approval lists will be updated at lunch daily, and held at the bookstore.  All forms will be turned in to the conduct office.  Remember, you MUST have your student ID in order to get in the door.  Guests need their ID, as well.  Students who are in possession of anything related to vaping/tobacco at the dance will not be allowed into the dance, and will be suspended off campus the following week.  Seniors who are off-campus suspended will lose the privilege to walk at graduation.  Thank you for following all school and district expectations.
