JV Football got a big win last night over Westview.  The score was 35-18.  Great plays were had by Rahim Bagley, Nathan Nold and Maximus Favazzo

 

Barro's Pizza Fundraiser:  The MRHS Choir is inviting you to support our fundraising efforts by going to the Barrro's Pizza on 67th Ave and 101 On Tuesday, September 10th. We really appreciate your support!

 

Before going to the football game on Friday, stop by Panera at 67th Ave and the 101 between 4:00-8:00. Take a picture of the gold flier in your teacher's classroom and show the cashier at Panera. Proceeds from sales benefit Educators Rising.

 

Attention students going to the Homecoming dance.  This year, all attendees need to sign a Homecoming Dance Code of Conduct form.  It will be on our website for you to download on Monday September 9th 2019.  If you are bringing a non-Ridge guest, you will also need to download a guest form off of our website.  Guests will also need to turn in a Dance Code of Conduct form.  Forms need to be turned in to the conduct office before students can purchase a ticket. Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.  Again, tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.  All tickets need to be purchased before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27th.  Please wait to buy guest tickets until you have confirmed your guest has been approved.  Approval lists will be updated at lunch daily, and held at the bookstore.  All forms will be turned in to the conduct office.  Remember, you MUST have your student ID in order to get in the door.  Guests need their ID, as well. Students who are in possession of anything related to vaping/tobacco at the dance will not be allowed into the dance, and will be suspended off campus the following week.  Seniors who are off-campus suspended will lose the privilege to walk at graduation.  Thank you for following all school and district expectations.

 

There is still time to get an AcaPrep pass to attend the ASU presentation during AcaPrep this Thursday. Any student interested in applying to or hearing more about ASU should attend this presentation. Get an AcaPrep pass from Counseling to attend.

Juniors can now register for the PSAT/NMSQ exam on the counseling page of the MRHS website. The test will be Saturday, October 19th at 7:30 am.

 

Come by the student store to try a new drink in the student store.  Celsius fitness drink is now available for $2.75  It contains zero sugar, no artificial preservatives, flavors or colors. Not a trace of high fructose corn syrup or aspartame. Celsius is Certified Vegan. Celsius is Gluten Free.

 

Avalon Cosmetology Presentations: A representative from Avalon School of Cosmetology will be presenting during AcaPrep on Tuesday the 10th. This is a great chance to learn about their Cosmetology program and available financial aid. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office today to attend!

 

Does your car need a wash? Come out to the KFC/TacoBell on 67th Ave and Deer Valley THIS SATURDAY between 9am and 3pm to get your car washed by the MRHS Band. All washes are donation based, and funds support your “Pride of the West” Band!

DECA is going to the AZ Science Center and the Dbacks game for the Fall Leadership Conference.  AND WE WANT YOU TO COME!! Come by the Student Store for details to sign up for the Sept 24th event.  Only $25 for the conference, science center, Dbacks, pizza dinner and transportation.  You do not have to join DECA...yet.  Come Try it before you Buy it! Deadline is Sept 9th!!
