Avalon Cosmetology Presentations: A representative from Avalon School of Cosmetology will be presenting during AcaPrep on Tuesday September 10th. This is a great chance to learn about their Cosmetology program and available financial aid. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office today to attend!

Does your car need a wash? Come out to the KFC/Taco Bell on 67th Ave and Deer Valley THIS SATURDAY between 9am and 3pm to get your car washed by the MRHS Band. All washes are donation based, and funds support your “Pride of the West” Band!

For all 9th-12th grade boys interested in playing basketball…Basketball camp & workouts will continue through Oct 30th. It is never to late to join. There are new players coming-out everyday. If you’re interested in meeting a lot of new people see Coach Lopez in E-103 or get your registration form from the bookstore.

Girls volleyball home opener is tonight against Desert Ridge game start at 4:00pm

Interested in drama, arguing, presentation, or debate? Join us in room E211 on September 5th from 2:45-3:15 for the first meeting of the Speech and Debate Club. New members are welcome, no commitment or prior experience necessary!"

Model UN is a simulation in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. If you are interested in politics, public speaking, negotiations and peacekeeping please join us for the first meeting of the year.   Come to room E211 on Thursday from 2:45-3:15 to learn more.

Attention students going to the Homecoming dance.  This year, all attendees need to sign a Homecoming Dance Code of Conduct form.  It will be on our website for you to download on Monday September 9th 2019.  If you are bringing a non-Ridge guest, you will also need to download a guest form off of our website.  Guests will also need to turn in a Dance Code of Conduct form.  Forms need to be turned in to the conduct office before students can purchase a ticket. 

Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.  Again, tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.All tickets need to be purchased before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27th.  Please wait to buy guest tickets until you have confirmed your guest has been approved.  Approval lists will be updated at lunch daily, and held at the bookstore.  All forms will be turned in to the conduct office.  Remember, you MUST have your student ID in order to get in the door.  Guests need their ID, as well. 

Students who are in possession of anything related to vaping/tobacco at the dance will not be allowed into the dance, and will be suspended off campus the following week.  Seniors who are off-campus suspended will lose the privilege to walk at graduation.  Thank you for following all school and district expectations.

Every Thursday, Jamba Juice will be here for both lunches selling your favorite flavor for only $5. We increased the inventory so there is more available! Get your's before it sells out and make sure to dispose of it before entering the buildings before class.

Before going to the first home football game on Friday, stop by Panera at 67th Ave and the 101 between 4:00-8:00. Take a picture of the gold flier in your teacher's classroom and show the cashier at Panera. Proceeds from sales benefit Educators

DECA is going to the AZ Science Center and the Dbacks game for the Fall Leadership Conference.  AND WE WANT YOU TO COME!! Come by the Student Store for details to sign up for the Sept 24th event.  Only $25 for the conference, science center, Dbacks, pizza dinner and transportation.  You do not have to join DECA...yet.  Come Try it before you Buy it! Deadline is Sept 9th!!
