Congratulations to State Leadership Conference Participants, Abbey Britton,
Lindsey Foster, Jacob Nova, Glenny Prabakaran, Brenna Samenfink, Haley von dem Bussche. Jacob and Haley advanced to 2nd round in HOSA Bowl, Glenny placed 2nd in Medical Photography and Brenna placed 5th in Pathophysiology. Great job!
Attention Seniors, tomorrow April 30th those seniors with last names A-K will have their final graduation meeting during AcaPrep in the auditorium. Those seniors with last names L-Z will meet during AcaPrep on Thursday, May May 2nd in the auditorium. This meeting is mandatory. Make sure you are present for this very important meeting.
Girls, are you interested in participating in volleyball next year? Please come to a meeting with Coach Williams before school on Friday, May 3rd at 7:10 AM in room E-107 for information on summer campus, tryouts and other information for the 2019 fall girls volleyball season. See you there!
Interested in drama, arguing, politics, presentation or debate? Join us in room E-211 on May 2nd from 2:30 – 3:00 PM for an introductory presentation from a guest speaker to learn about the upcoming MRHS Speech and Debate te4am for the 2019-2020 school year. No commitment or prior experience necessary.
The bookstore hours will be limited this week. Wednesday and Thursday, April 24th and 25th, the bookstore will only be open from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will be closed on Friday, April 26th. Monday and Tuesday, the 29th and 30th, the hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Normal bookstore hours will resume on May 1st.

The ASU Representative for our campus is coming on Thursday, May 2nd during AcaPrep to talk to current juniors interested in ASU. This is a great chance to learn about admissions, scholarships, campus life, Barrett Honors and to ask any questions you might have. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office to attend.

Athletes, the time has come again to get your athletic physicals. Schedule an appointment in the Athletic office or email Lara.wesson@dvusd.org. Physicals are Saturday, May 4th from 7:00 – 11:30 AM at MVP Orthopedics. Flyers are posted in the classrooms as well.
Congratulations to Varsity Baseball for their 8-7 come back win against O'Connor in the 1st round of playoffs on Saturday. Round 2 is Tuesday 4/30, 4:00pm at HoHoKam Stadium against Basha. Let get out there and show them our support! GO RIDGE!
