We are still in need of blood donors for the blood drive this Thursday, April 25^th.  You need to be at least 16 years old, weight at least 110 pounds and be in good health.  You must schedule an appointment in Mr. Prey’s room C-209.

The representatives from U of A and NAU are on campus today during AcaPrep to speak to current juniors interested in attending or learning more about either the U of A or NAU.  It is not too late to get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office to attend one of these great opportunities      .

Athletes, the time has come again to get your athletic physicals.  Schedule an appointment in the Athletic office or email Lara.wesson@dvusd.org.  Physicals are Saturday, May 4^th from 7:00 – 11:30 AM at MVP Orthopedics.  Flyers are posted in the classrooms as well.

Mountain Ridge's after school program in E-117 would like you to be a part of it.  Bring your friends and have fun relaxing indoors while you are waiting for a ride or for practice to start.  The program is Monday-Thursday from 2:30-3:45. See you there!

The bookstore hours will be limited this week.  Wednesday and Thursday, April 24^th and 25^th, the bookstore will only be open from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will be closed on Friday, April 26^th.  Monday and Tuesday, the 29^th and 30^th, the hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Normal bookstore hours will resume on May 1^st.

The JW Marriott at Desert Ridge is offering a part-time summer job to one of our students interested in culinary.  Please see Ms. Debbie Moore in the DECA student store or C-103 for details on this opportunity.  Thanks to the National Academy Foundation and the Academy o entrepreneurship at Mountain Ridge.  Marketing and DECA, a clear path to your future career!

Save the date, Grad Night at Main Event on May 17^th from 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM!  Fun all night!  Seniors can bring a friend.

The MRHS STUDENT Hiring event is set for April 24th.  During both lunches there will be tables set up.  Be prepared to meet employers and talk to them about jobs.  The event is open to ALL MRHS students.  Get your resume ready and come see what jobs are available.  Marriott Desert Ridge has LOTS of job offerings.  Discover is looking for students to work 30+ hour with pay over $11 per hour.  Marriott, Discover Card and McDonalds are confirmed at present.

Attention seniors and senior parents, celebrate graduation with a personalized MRHS senior yard sign.  Pick up a flyer in the bookstore or go to the Mountain Ridge Pom facebook page to get an order form.  All orders are due by April 26^th.
