Any student interested in running for a class officer in student government needs to attend a mandatory workshop TOMORROW at 7:00 AM or 2:20 PM in E-218. You cannot run for Stugo if you do not attend the workshop. See Mr. Evans with questions.
Mountain Ridge's after school program in E-117 would like you to be a part of it. Bring your friends and have fun relaxing indoors while you are waiting for a ride or for practice to start. The program is Monday-Thursday from 2:30-3:45. See you there!
Attention students that park your vehicles on the residential streets surrounding Ridge! The Glendale pavement management project will be taking place starting Monday, April 15th. If your car is on the street that is going to be paved, it will be towed. Please make alternative arrangements. You can call project hotline at 602-532-6250.
For those students who are currently in 10th, 11th and 12th grades that took the AZ Merit test last year and were proficient or highly proficient, you can pick up your cords in the Curriculum office before school, during both lunches and after school. A list of the students who qualified for a cord is posted in canvas.
Attention students going to the PROM. This year, all attendees need to sign a Prom Dance Code of Conduct form. It is on our website for you to download. If you are bringing a non-Ridge guest, you will also need to download a guest form our website. Guests will also need to turn in a Dance Code of Conduct form. Forms need to be turned into the conduct office (before school, after school or during both lunches) before students can purchase a ticket. Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door. All tickets need to be purchased before 3:00 PM on Friday, April 12th. Please wait to buy your guest tickets until you have confirmed your guest has been approved. Approval lists will be updated at lunch daily, and held at the bookstore. All forms will be turned into the conduct office. Remember, you MUST have your student ID in order to get in the door. Guests need their ID as well. Students who are in possession of anything related to vaping/tobacco at the dance will not be allowed into the dance and will be suspended off campus the following week. Seniors who are off-campus suspended will lose the privilege to walk at graduation. Thank you for following all school and district expectations.
The MRHS STUDENT Hiring event is set for April 24th. During both lunches there will be tables set up. Be prepared to meet employers and talk to them about jobs. The event is open to ALL MRHS students. Get your resume ready and come see what jobs are available. Marriott Desert Ridge has LOTS of job offerings. Discover is looking for students to work 30+ hour with pay over $11 per hour. Marriott, Discover Card and McDonalds are confirmed at present.
Attention seniors and senior parents, celebrate graduation with a personalized MRHS Senior Yard sign. Pick up a flyer in the bookstore or go to the Mountain Ridge Pom facebook page to get an order form. All orders are due by April 26th.
