Juniors and Seniors will be voting for Prom Royalty this week in your Language Arts classes. Tickets for Prom are on sale in the bookstore at lunches, so make sure you get them soon.
Any student interested in running for a class officer in student government needs to attend a mandatory workshop TOMORROW at 7:00 AM or 2:20 PM in E-218. You cannot run for Stugo if you do not attend the workshop. See Mr. Evans with questions.
Mountain Ridge's after school program in E-117 would like you to be a part of it. Bring your friends and have fun relaxing indoors while you are waiting for a ride or for practice to start. The program is Monday-Thursday from 2:30-3:45. See you there!
Hello DECA members! Get into the canvas course on Thursday to see the ballot for voting. If you have any questions, please stop by the student store.
Plan your summer online courses. Registration is open until April 26th. Go to www.dvusd.org/online to register.
For those students who are currently in 10th, 11th and 12th grades that took the AZ Merit test last year and were proficient or highly proficient, cords can now be picked up before school, during lunches or after school in the Curriculum office. A list of the students who qualified for a cord is posted in canvas.
Are you taking the CTE Online Internship class next year? Be sure to come to the Internship Kick Off meeting on Tuesday, April 16th in the DVUSD Boardroom at 5:00 PM. Bring your resume, you will find out about the program expectations and will meet some of the employers that night!
Save the date! Grad night at Main Event on May 17th from 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM. Fun all night! Seniors can bring a friend.
The MRHS STUDENT Hiring event is set for April 24th. During both lunches there will be tables set up. Be prepared to meet employers and talk to them about jobs. The event is open to ALL MRHS students. Get your resume ready and come see what jobs are available. Marriott Desert Ridge has LOTS of job offerings. Discover is looking for students to work 30+ hour with pay over $11 per hour. Marriott, Discover Card and McDonalds are confirmed at present.
Beach Volleyball against Barry Goldwater, Fresh/JV Softball against Sandra Day and Track against Barry Goldwater. Come out and support your teams!
