Congratulations to our Mountain Ridge High School Choir for receiving a Gold award with Outstanding Musicianship Award at the Forum Festival in Anaheim, California! The choir sounds amazing and they invite you to their May 3rd Concert.

Any student interested in running for a class officer in student government needs to attend a mandatory workshop on Thursday, April 11th at 7:00 AM or 2:20 PM in E-218.  You cannot run for Stugo if you do not attend the workshop.  See Mr. Evans with questions.

Attention seniors and senior parents, celebrate graduation with a personalized MRHS Senior Yard Sign. Pick up a flier in the bookstore or go to the Mountain Ridge Pom facebook page to get an order form. All orders are due by April 26th.

For those students who are currently in 10th , 11th and 12th  grades that took the AZ Merit test last year and were proficient or highly proficient, we will be distributing the AZ Merit cords during both lunches starting on April 8th through April 11th.  A list of the students who qualified for a cord is posted in canvas.

Senior Boys Dance rehearsal is Monday, April 8th after school in the cafeteria.  See you there!

If you are planning on attending summer school this year the registration window is April 1st through April 26th.  The First day of school will be May 13th.  In-Person finals will be June 25th or June 26th from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.  You can register at www.dvusd.org/online.

Are you taking the CTE online internship class next year?  Be sure to come to the Internship Kick Off meeting on Tuesday, April 16th in the DVUSD board room at 5:00 PM.  Bring your resume.  You will find out about the program expectations and will meet some of the employers that night.

Arizona DECA will be awarding ten $1000.00 scholarships this year to our top seniors moving on the further their education.  The application window opens tomorrow and continues until April 12th.  See Mrs. Moore or Mrs. Woodruff for details.

Western Region DECA is offering up to $5000.00 in scholarships to chapters to send students to the Emerging Leader Summit, taking place from July 15 – 17th in San Diego.  Advisors may apply for this scholarship for chapter members that would make great future candidates for state office and beyond.  See Mrs. Moore or Mrs. Woodruff if you are interested DECA members.

Freshman/JV Softball at home tonight against Boulder Creek.  Come out and support your team!
