Attention Seniors, Graduation products will be available to be picked up today in the rotunda during both lunches. Please note, products not picked up will be sent back to Josten's and you will need to contact Josten's to arrange pick up. The products will not be held in the bookstore this year.
Congratulations to the Ridge Mock Trial team who placed 3rd at the Phoenix regional competition on Saturday. In a grueling 12 hour, 5 trial day, they stayed focused and positive to attain the highest honor they have ever achieved as a team. You Rock!
Congratulations to Coach Glonek’s Power Training Lifters of the Month for January, 1st hour Kaden Hicks, 2nd hour Jack Talbott, 3rd hour Hannah Gibson, 4th hour Robert Knox, 5th hour Tristan Carpenter, 6th hour Connor Astorquia. Congratulations to the after school training program lifters of the month Sergio Ramos & Noah Brunson-Osborne.
The girls' varsity tennis team scored a victory against visiting Campo Verde by an 8-1 score. Winning at both singles and doubles included Neha Balamurugan, Emma Troyer, Alexis Messerly & Roshni Patel. Also winning at singles were Ashni Patel & Sai Konatam. JV's also defeated Campo Verde 7-2. Great job girls!
Juniors the next series of workshops offered to help you explore options for after high school is “Career Pathways through Community Colleges.” It will be held on March 7th during AcaPrep. Please come to the Counseling office for a pass.
The JW MARRIOTT at Desert Ridge is offering a part-time summer job to one of our students interested in culinary. Please see Mrs. Debbie Moore in the DECA student store or Room C-103 for details on this opportunity. Thanks to the National Academy Foundation and the Academy of Entrepreneurship at Mountain Ridge. Marketing and DECA, a clear path to your future career!
Interested in being a DECA Chapter Officer? There is a DECA meeting on Thursday to find out information. You can also turn in your butterbraid orders. Candidate Bios are due back no later than the March 28th DECA meeting. See you Thursday during AcaPrep. Come by the student store and grab a pass.
Butterbraid orders are due Thursday! If you are fundraising for DECA or FBLA get those orders turned in ASAP. If you want a butterbraid, be sure to reach out to DECA, FBLA, Mrs. Woodruff or Mrs. Moore. The product will be delivered on April 3rd.
Juniors and Seniors taking the Civics Exam on Friday, March 8th, please bring your AcaPrep pass on Thursday, March 7th for review session.
Seniors, your cap and gown pictures are now available in the Bookstore. Stop by and pick them up before school, during lunches and after school.
Registration for boys basketball camp will be going on through March. Registration forms are in the bookstore. Also, the boys basketball banquet will be on Wednesday, March 13th. To RSVP please see Coach Lopez for details.
If you were on the list to receive a Renaissance Cord and did not pick it up during distribution, please come by the office before school, during lunches or afterschool to pick up your cord.
National Honor Society Invitations – It’s that time, again! Invitations for National Honor Society are being delivered. If you are a Sophomore or Junior with a GPA over 3.8 and are not yet a member, look out for your invitation. If you don’t receive one and you meet the criteria, come see Mrs. Santschi in room E209.
Varsity/JV girls tennis against Mesa, Track against Liberty & Peoria are both at home tonight. Come out and support your teams!
