Congratulations to the JV Pom team, Elizabeth Pablos, Avery Arnold, Lauren Lopes, Tatum Bondi, Maggie McClain, Ryleigh Runnels & Tatum Lopez. They ended their season with 2 first place finishes in AZ and a 6th place finish at the National Competition in Anaheim, California. The girls scored higher than any other team from Arizona and only lost to some of the top programs in the nation which included Mater Dei, Clovis & Tesoro high schools from California. Congratulations on a great season!
Track & Field competed in their first meet of the year yesterday at Deer Valley. Both Boys and Girls teams finished in second place out of 4 teams. The boys team was led with standout performances by Jack Greger, Dermot Broderick, Tristan Sliva, Albin Arulanandu & Jake Laaker. The Girls team was led by Ally Rybarcyk, Breanna Manusina, Meghan Grabowski, Olivia Hansen, Madi Meyers, and Kai Buie. The Track team will compete next at the First Annual Mountain Ridge Invitational tomorrow with events starting at 2:30.
Cap and gown pictures are available for pickup in the Bookstore, before school, during lunches and after school.
Attention Juniors, Counselors are offering various workshops in March during AcaPreps to help you plan for after high school. The first two will be on March 5th. You can choose between Military Pathways and University Planning. Come to the Counseling office to get a pass to attend. Don’t miss this opportunity!
Seniors, your cap and gown pictures are now available in the Bookstore. Stop by and pick them up before school, during lunches and afterschool.
Attention Seniors, Senior Panoramic Pictures are in!! You can pick up your picture in the bookstore before school, after school, and during the lunches.
If you were on the list to receive a Renaissance Cord and did not pick it up during distribution, please come by the office before school, during lunches or after school to pick up your cord.
The Library Media Center will be closed Monday, March 4th and March 8th for testing.
Interested in playing basketball? The boys basketball open gym begins next Monday March 4th at 2:30 PM. The camp workouts and games are for all skill levels ranging from beginning to advanced. The fee is $60 and lasts until May. Registration forms are in the bookstore. Sign up today.
Applications for the Maricopa Grant/Tuition Assistance are now available. Students need to apply by May 31, 2019 to be considered for tuition assistance for the dual enrollment classes that they plan on taking in the 2019-2020 school year. Students must reapply for the Maricopa Grant each school year. Please remind students to apply now for Tuition Assistance as funds are limited and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. (Eligibility is required). Students may refer to our Tuition Assistance/Maricopa Grant website for more information and to access the application.
Varsity Baseball against Brophy and JV/Freshman Softball against Xavier are at home tonight. Come out and support your teams!
