Congratulations to the Varsity Pom team, Ashlyn Campbell, Gabbie Hajjar, Megan Neese, Megan Curry, Nicki Kraft, Anna Hanson, Sophia Spiegel, Cydney Runnels, Lauren Keating & Marissa Calderone.  They finished their season this past weekend making it to the final round of the USA Nationals Competition in Anaheim California.  Out of all the teams in the tournament, our Pom team placed 4^th in the Advanced Varsity Division. Congratulations girls.

Attention Juniors, Counselors are offering various workshops in March during AcaPreps to help with your post high school planning.  The first workshops begin next week.  Please check your Canvas announcement for the schedule and come to the Counseling office to get a pass to attend.  Don’t miss out on this opportunity!

Attention Seniors, Senior Panoramic Pictures are in!!  You can pick up your picture in the bookstore before school, after school, and during the lunches.

DECA state contenders, you will be released from class at 11:00 AM on Thursday.  Please eat and then load up your luggage on the bus.  We will return to school about 6:00 PM on Saturday.  See Mrs. Moore or Mrs. Woodruff for more details.  Let’s go qualify for International Competition!

If you were on the list to receive a Renaissance Cord and did not pick it up during distribution, please come by the office before school, during lunches or afterschool to pick up your cord.

The Library Media Center will be closed Monday, March 4^th and March 8^th for testing.

Interested in playing basketball?  The boys basketball open gym begins next Monday March 4^th at 2:30 PM.  The camp workouts and games are for all skill levels ranging from beginning to advanced.  The fee is $60 and lasts until May.  Registration forms are at the bookstore.  Sign up today.

Varsity girls tennis team opened the season with a 6-3 win over Mountain Pointe.  Winning at both singles and doubles included Neha Balamurugan, Emma Troyer, Alexis Messerly, and Roshni Patel.  JV's also defeated Mountain Pointe by a 6-3 score.  Congratulations to both teams.

Applications for the Maricopa Grant/Tuition Assistance are now available.  Students need to apply by May 31, 2019 to be considered for tuition assistance for the dual enrollment classes that they plan on taking in the 2019-2020 school year.  Students must reapply for the Maricopa Grant each school year.  Please remind students to apply now for Tuition Assistance as funds are limited and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. (Eligibility is required).  Students may refer to our Tuition Assistance/Maricopa Grant website for more information and to access the application.

Varsity Baseball against Pinnacle, Beach Volleyball against Chaparral, Varsity/JV Girls Tennis against Perry and Boys Volleyball against Desert Vista are all at home tonight.   Come out and support your teams!
