DECA meeting is Thursday during AcaPrep. Men’s Wearhouse will be out guest speaker talking about Dress for Success.
Best Buddies will meet in Room C113 on Thursday during ACA Prep. Remember, T-shirt money and Yogurtini cards are due. Get your AcaPrep pass from Mrs. Plogman before our meeting date.
Cross Country pulled off the sweep at the District Meet winning both championships, boys and girls. Congratulations to the 2018 District Champions. The boys team was led by Hunter Krasa (individual champion), Austin Clayton 3rd, Gavin Allen 4th, Dermot Broderick 8th, Jett Seguin 16th, Spencer Sherwood 20th and Thomas Kim 23rd. The Girls team finished with a total of 27 points. Emily Simon 2nd, Taylor Mollenhour 3rd, Leslie Simon 5th, Lizzie Simon 6th, Taylor Krasa 11th Celicia Sermeno 15th and Arielle Parker 19th. Great job Cross Country and Congratulations.
Congratulations to the Power Training class ultimate pull-up competition champions. Lady champions are 1st place Lauren Maza, 2nd place Sam Streveler and 3rd place Madison Marr. Men’s heavy weight champions are 1st place Skyler Suwyn, 2nd place Noah Hasegawa and 3rd place Zach Martinez. Men’s light weight champions are 1st place Eric Olson, 2nd place Ryan Ellis and 3rd place Joshua Guevara.
The University of Arizona representative will be on campus during AcaPrep on Thursday, October 25th. Learn about admissions, scholarships, campus life and more! Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office today!
To celebrate the Food Drive going on right now StuGo has come up with a spirit week the week of October 22nd – 26th. Each day will have a specific item to bring in and the first hour class that brings in the most each day will get a prize. Tuesday is “The Incredible Bulk” so bring in bulk food (rice, flour, beans, etc.) Wednesday is “The AmeriCAN Way” so bring in cans. Thursday is “Thirsty Thursday” so bring in water and Friday is “Fiesta FriYAY” so bring in all nonperishable items. Go Ridge!

Planning to go to Orlando with DECA with a written event? You need to start on your paper now! You should have them finished the last week in November so get writing that paper! See Mrs. Moore or Mrs. Woodruff if you have questions!
Anyone interested in wrestling this year must attend a mandatory meeting in Coach Whitten’s room E104 this Thursday after school at 2:20 PM.
Winter sports tryouts begin on October 29th. All athletes must be cleared through the Athletic office PRIOR to tryouts. You can pick up a physical packet in the athletic office before or after school and during lunch. See Mrs. Wesson for questions.
