Please congratulate Jacob Latham and Emily Simon for being selected as Citizens of the Month for September.

DECA meeting is Thursday during AcaPrep.  Men’s Wearhouse will be out guest speaker talking about Dress for Success.

DECA butterbraid orders will be delivered on Wednesday.  Plan on it!

Cross Country pulled off the sweep at the District Meet winning both championships, boys and girls.  Congratulations to the 2018 District Champions.  The boys team was led by Hunter Krasa (individual champion), Austin Clayton 3^rd, Gavin Allen 4^th, Dermot Broderick 8^th, Jett Seguin 16^th, Spencer Sherwood 20^th and Thomas Kim 23^rd.  The Girls team finished with a total of 27 points.  Emily Simon 2^nd, Taylor Mollenhour 3^rd, Leslie Simon 5^th, Lizzie Simon 6^th, Taylor Krasa 11^th Celicia Sermeno15th and Arielle Parker 19^th.  Great job Cross Country and Congratulations.

The University of Arizona representative will be on campus during AcaPrep on Thursday, October 25^th.  Learn about admissions, scholarships, campus life and more!  Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office today!

We are giving students one last opportunity to purchase iPad insurance for $25.00.  This opportunity starts on TODAY and goes through the end of the month.

To celebrate the Food Drive going on right now StuGo has come up with a spirit week the week of October 22^nd – 26^th.  Each day will have a specific item to bring in and the first hour class that brings in the most each day will get a prize.  Monday makes the world go “round” so bring in money.  Tuesday is “The Incredible Bulk” so bring in bulk food (rice, flour, beans, etc.)  Wednesday is “The AmeriCAN Way” so bring in cans.  Thursday is “Thirsty Thursday” so bring in water and Friday is “Fiesta FriYAY” so bring in all nonperishable items.  Go Ridge!

During lunch TODAY Ridge is hosting a College and Career fair.  Take advantage of this chance to meet with several reps from in-state and out-of-state colleges.  There will be several career or military based options to see, as well.  Wear your favorite college shirt and support the College and Career fair.

There is still time to get an AcaPrep pass to attend the informational presentation tomorrow from University of California Santa Barbara.  Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office today!

Planning to go to Orlando with DECA with a written event?  You need to start on your paper now!  You should have them finished the last week in November so get writing that paper!  See Mrs. Moore or Mrs. Woodruff if you have questions!

#RidgeGivesDay is here!  Saturday, October 27^th from 8:00 AM – Noon.  Be sure to sign up in the C hallway for a spot.  Some volunteer spots are on campus and some are off campus.  A bonus for those in Government classes.  Some off campus volunteer locations will work longer than 4 hours.  For every hour that you work, you get an entry into a drawing for a family four pack of Disney tickets courtesy of DECA, so gather your family and friends to join us on Saturday, October 27^th.  A light breakfast is provided to get you started on your day and pizza for lunch.  If you have any questions please see Mrs. Moore in the Student store.

Anyone interested in wrestling this year must attend a mandatory meeting in Coach Whitten’s room E104 this Thursday after school at 2:20 PM.

Winter sports tryouts begin on October 29^th.  All athletes must be cleared through the Athletic office PRIOR to tryouts.  You can pick up a physical packet in the athletic office before or after school and during lunch.  See Mrs. Wesson for questions.
