Staff and students please help HOSA in the High School Heroes Organ Donor challenge.  We are competing against other schools in Arizona to sign up organ donors.  See us at lunches on 10/2, 10/4, 10/9,  10/11, the football game on 10/5 and the volleyball game on 10/10 to help thousands of people receive lifesaving treatment and to receive a free t-shirt.

Congratulations to the Respect the Ridge winners! The winner for the Choir ticket is Walker Horsley. Please see Mrs. Ramey in the Bookstore. Mohammed Abdulrazzaq is the winner of a front of the line pass! Remember to be a good citizen and Respect the Ridge!

The girls badminton team defeated Boulder Creek. Varsity winners Morgan Pearson, Jenna Dickson, Savannah Swint, Tania Do, Vedika Tripathi and Caitlin Estrada. The Mr. Poppers team award went to Jenna Dickson for executing he strategy for singles and doubles.

Students interested in joining the Air Force after high school or learning about the opportunities available through the Air Force should attend the presentation tomorrow during AcaPrep. Get an AcaPrep pass from the counseling office today.

An ASU College of Nursing representative will be presenting during AcaPrep on Thursday, October 9th. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the programs offered within the College of Nursing at ASU. Get your AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office today!

Reminder that there is an inaugural meeting for our National History Day club during AcaPrep on Thursday. Please go to room E107 for a pass.

Congratulations to Coach Glonek’s Power Training Lifters of the month for September.  1^st hour, Vince Burgo, 2^nd hour Zach Rogers, 3^rd hour Olivia Hansen, 4^th hougr Josh Guavara, 5^th hour Jacob Neal and 6^th hour Ethan Hudak.  Congratulations to the after school training program lifter of the month Tiffany Price.

Best Buddies will meet in Room C113 on Thursday during AcaPrep.  We have GREAT news to share!  Remember to get your pass from Mrs. Plogman before our meeting date. 

It is DECA store week!  Monday - Come by and say Hi!!  Tuesday - Take a picture of your Hydro or Water jug with our MRHS decal for a chance to win a $10 DECA store credit.  Tag @ridge_DECA on twitter.  Wednesday - DECA store Give Back Day.  Come buy your Pink Ribbon for Dig PINK day on 10/10/18. Get ready for the PIK OUT!  Dig PINK is on Wednesday, 10/10/2018 at 5:30 PM.  Be there, wear PINK, honor survivors and donate some money!   Teacher, if you wear pink that day you can wear jeans!  You can also donate money to the cause.  Come by the student store for the fundraiser link.

Freshman Football is at home tonight against Pinnacle and Badminton is also at home against Liberty.  Come out and support your team!
