Hey Ridge guess what?  The food drive is here!  For 10 of the last 11 years we’ve held the state record for the most cans collected. This year we will again participate in the National Student Food Drive Competition and we are excited to put Mountain Ridge back on the top!  So, let’s smash our record of almost 240,000 cans we did a few years back, and reach our goal of 250,000! Starting today bring any donated nonperishable items into your FIRST hour and help us make it the best year ever. We can do it!  Let’s get our trophy back!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Educators Rising charity book drive.  We collected a total of 850 books!  Mrs. Bondi’s 1^st period collected the most books with 274 and are winners of the donut party.  Congratulations.

Girls Volleyball will be having a fundraiser at Barro’s Pizza on 67^th Avenue TODAY from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.  Come and support your girls volleyball team by mentioning you are there to support Ridge Volleyball.  25% of the proceeds will be donated to MRHS.  See you there!

Help HOSA in the High School Heroes Organ Donor challenge.  We are competing against other schools in Arizona to sign up organ donors.  See us at lunches 10/2, 10/4, 10/9, 10/11, the football game on 10/5 or the volleyball game on 10/10 to help thousands of people receive lifesaving treatment and to receive a free t-shirt.

Get ready for the PINK OUT!  Dig pink is on Wednesday, October 10^th at 5:30 PM.  Be there, wear PINK, honor survivors and donate some money!  Teachers, if you wear pink that day you can wear jeans and you can donate money to the cause too!  Come by the student store for the fundraiser link.

The boys soccer camp begins TOMORROW.  Please print off a registration form from the athletics website or pick up one at the Bookstore.

Girls golf is against Boulder Creek today.  If you see them on campus wish them luck!
