On Friday, September 14, 2018, as part of our Homecoming celebration, we will be having fireworks during certain exciting highlights of our game provided by Fireworks Productions of Arizona.   The game will start at approximately 7:00 PM and fireworks will be used intermittently during the evening until the game’s completion.

If you are on the free and reduced school lunch program and have not reapplied, you need to do so before September 20^th.

Congratulations to all those 10^th, 11^th and 12^th grade students who have qualified to be members of the Renaissance program.  Teachers have received the list and it should be posted in each classroom, so make sure you check the list.  Cord distribution will be September 27^th during both lunches.

A representative from the ASU Barrett Honors College will be on campus on Tuesday, 9/18 during AcaPrep. This is a great chance to learn more about what it takes to get into Barrett and what you will do as a Barrett Honors student. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office today!

A representative from the University of Chicago is coming to Mountain Ridge to present to students during AcaPrep on Tuesday, 9/18. Even if you don't know if you want to go out-of-state, come hear about what UChicago could offer you for your academic future. Get an AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office, today!

Attention students going to the Homecoming dance.  This year, all attendees need to sign a Homecoming Dance Code of Conduct form.  It is on our website for you to download.  If you are bringing a non-Ridge guest, you will also need to download a guest form off of our website.  Guests will also need to turn in a Dance Code of Conduct form.  Forms need to be turned in to the conduct office before students can purchase a ticket.  Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door. 

All tickets need to be purchased by 3:00 p.m. TODAY.  Please wait to buy guest tickets until you have confirmed your guest has been approved.  Approval lists will be updated at lunch daily, and held at the bookstore.  All forms will be turned in to the conduct office.  Remember, you MUST have your student ID in order to get in the door.  Guests need their ID, as well. 

Students who are in possession of anything related to vaping/tobacco at the dance will not be allowed into the dance, and will be suspended off campus the following week.    Seniors who are off-campus suspended will lose the privilege to walk at graduation.  Thank you for following all school and district expectations.

Calling all burrito lovers!  Foil your dinner plans and stop by the Chipotle at 20004 N. 67^th Avenue, Suite 500 in Glendale for the Best Buddies fundraiser on Tuesday, September 25^th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  We are raising money to support Best Buddies.   Mention the Mountain Ridge fundraiser at checkout and they will donate 33% of the proceeds to the cause.   Can’t wait to see you!

Girls Volleyball will be having a fundraiser at Barro’s Pizza on 67^th Avenue Monday, October 1^st from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.  Come and support your girls volleyball team by mentioning you are there to support Ridge volleyball.  Twenty five percent of the procedes will be donated to MRHS.  See you there!

Congrats to the Freshman and JV football teams for getting the win against the Tolleson Wolverines, 17 to 6 and 45 to 26.  Varsity takes on Tolleson for HOMECOMING tonight, so let's get out there and show our Ridge pride!!! GO RIDGE!

Homecoming game against Tolleson is tonight.    Mountain Ridge asks you to Respect the Ridge and follow the stadium rules.  No outside food or drinks allowed.  Clear water bottles only.  No backpacks are allowed.  No skateboards.  We appreciate your cooperation!  Come out and support your team! 

Just a reminder it is against school rules for outside companies to deliver food to our campus for students.  Food deliveries will be refused.
