Congratulations to the April Respect the Ridge winners!  The winners for the Homecoming ticket is Jake Baker (10th Grade).  Please see Anna at the bookstore on Friday, September 7th.  Zoe Hill (12th grade) is the winner of a cookie!  Remember to be a good citizen and Respect the Ridge!!

Congratulations to Coach Glonek’s power training lifters of the month for August.  1st hour, Jason Bowey, 2nd hour Tate Childers, 3rd hour Benn Potts, 4th hour Anthony Chavez, 5th hour Sarah Cosson, 6th hour Ethan Hudak.  Congratulations also goes to the after school program lifter of the month Celicia Sermeno.

Educators Rising is looking for donations of new and gently used books for children ages 5 – 12.  If you have books to donate please bring them to your 1st period teacher.  The 1st period class with the most books or cash to buy books will win a donut party!

A representative from NAU will be on campus Thursday, September 13th.  Students interested in learning more about admissions, scholarships, campus life and more at NAU should attend the AcaPrep presentation.  Get your AcaPrep pass from the Counseling office today!

Girls Volleyball will be having a fund raiser at Barro's Pizza on 67th Ave. Monday October 1st  from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.  Come and support your girls volleyball team by mentioning you are there to support Ridge Volleyball.   Twenty five percent the procedes will be donated to MRHS.  See you there!

Attention students going to the Homecoming dance.  This year, all attendees need to sign a Homecoming Dance Code of Conduct form.  It is on our website for you to download.  If you are bringing a non-Ridge guest, you will also need to download a guest form off of our website.  Guests will also need to turn in a Dance Code of Conduct form.  Forms need to be turned in to the conduct office before students can purchase a ticket.  Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.  All tickets need to be purchased by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14th.  Please wait to buy guest tickets until you have confirmed your guest has been approved.  Approval lists will be updated at lunch daily, and held at the bookstore.  All forms will be turned in to the conduct office.  Remember, you MUST have your student ID in order to get in the door.  Guests need their ID, as well. 

Students who are in possession of anything related to vaping/tobacco at the dance will not be allowed into the dance, and will be suspended off campus the following week.    Seniors who are off-campus suspended will lose the privilege to walk at graduation.  Thank you for following all school and district expectations.

A TuTu for You You…Yes you!!  Get ready for spirit week and color day next week with your Class Color Tutu for only $12 in the student store. Get yours EARLY as stock is limited!!

Did you win a free bottle water last week?  Get a MRHS sticker form the student store for your HydroFlax and you could win.   If we spot it, then you could be the winner of the week!!

The girls badminton defeated Valley Vista 9-0 Varsity and 9-0 JV.  Varsity winners include Morgan Pearson, Jenna Dickson, Savannah Swint, Tania Do and Caitlin Estrada.  The Mr. Poppers team award went to Mirali Shah for executing singles and doubles strategy very well.

Great job to the Swim& Dive team in their hard fought meet against Boulder Creek and O'Connor yesterday.  The team finished 2nd overall with a combined score of 189, just edging out O'Connor by 10 points.  Great job!  Wish them luck as they head up to Flagstaff this Saturday for their first Invite of the season!
