Optional device protection for all iPads will be available for purchase until August 17^th.  The cost is $25.00 and payments can be made online or in-person at the MRHS bookstore.  The optional device protection program significantly decreased repair costs for damaged iPads.  Insurance must be purchased each year.

Any Freshman interested in running for a class office in Student Government needs to attend a mandatory workshop on Thursday, August 16^th  at 7:00 AM or 2:20 PM in room E218.  You cannot run for Stugo if you do not attend the workshop.  See Mr. Evans with questions.

Attention Junior and Senior girls with a 3.5 GPA or better!  Are you interested in joining Ridge’s Society of Female Scholars?  Please attend our brief informational meeting on Tuesday, August 14^th at 7:15 AM in room C107 with Mrs. Gordon or at 12:15 PM in E116 with Ms. Britton.  Follow us on Twitter for announcements @RidgeSOFS or go to Mrs. Gordon’s website to sign up for reminders and check the SOFS schedule. 

Trap Door Society is the MRHS drama club! Please join us for our first meeting of the year tomorrow, Tuesday, from 2:20 to 3:20 in the auditorium. Hope to see you there!

If you are a student that has excused hours and need your ID punched, please come to the Conduct office, before school, during lunch or after school.

Anyone interested in running Cross Country?  It is not too late!  Please see Coach Faust in room E106.

Congratulations to our students and alumni who represented MRHS this summer while on tour with Drum Corps International! This weekend was the culmination of their 80 day, 28 show tour that included rehearsing up to 10 hours per day and traveling over 10,000 miles! We are incredibly proud of their performances this weekend at the DCI World Championships in front of 23,000 fans at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and wish them a warm welcome home:  Ridge junior Brinley O’Camb - Oregon Crusaders Color Guard, Ridge senior Joel Domkus - The Academy, Tuba, Ridge senior Sam Van Dusen - Blue Knights, Color Guard, Ridge alum Brad Hafalia - The Cavaliers, Color Guard.
