ATTENTION Junior Students: if you would like a parking space for next year, the application will be available on the Mountain Ridge website starting on Monday May 14. Please note that you will have to print the 2018-2019 application yourself and provide copies of the required documentation. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Applications will only be accepted before school, during lunches, and after school and must be turned in by the student.

Color Guard Spin Clinics and Info Session,   Any students interested in joining fall color guard or winter guard next year should plan to attend spin clinics on Wednesday, May 16th and Thursday, May 17th from 5:00-6:30 PM. Participants will learn the basics of spinning rifles and flags and will also receive information about joining guard for next.  Our back to back state champion program is a proud no-cut activity here at Ridge.  We had 48 total students participate in guard last year and are looking to hit 50 this year!  Meet in the Fine Arts building to come check it out!  Anyone with questions can contact Ms. Eng in CC408.

Best Buddies Club, we are planning our end of the year final meeting and party!  Join in the celebration on Thursday, May 17^th during ACA Prep.  Doughnuts will be provided, but please plan on bringing goodies to share.  See you on Thursday!

ATTENTION SENIORS who do NOT have a Government or Econ class:  We will be holding a rehearsal meeting for graduation on May 16^th at 7:00 a.m. in the Lecture Hall.  Please try to attend this important rehearsal for graduation.

Congratulations to the Power Training Class Lifters of the Year.  All Lifters of the Year Candidates were previously Lifters of the Month and selected by Coach Glonek.  However the following class winners were selected by their classmates for this highly esteemed recognition. Their names will go on the MRHS Weight Room wall and remain for years to come.  1st hour Derek Torres, 2nd hour Jake Brown, 3rd hour Skyler Suwyn, 5th hour Emanuel Niculae, 6th hour Ethan Hudak.  Congratulations!

Good morning Ridge, our baseball team is playing in the state championship tonight at Tempe Diablo stadium at 7:00 PM versus our district rivals, Sandra Day O'Connor.  Adult admission is $10 and students are $5 with a school ID.  We want a huge fan section, come out and support our boys. GO RIDGE!"

Attention all girls interested in playing badminton next year in the Fall, there will be a meeting in Coach Rosinbum's room, C-211, during Aca-Prep on Wednesday this week. Returning players and new players interested in the sport are encouraged to attend.  Come join this growing, fun sport on campus.

P.R.I.D.E (PTO) is asking for community support.  The BIG event is almost here, Class of 2018 ALL NIGHT lock in Grad Night PARTY.  Please donate gift cards in the amount of $10-$15 as prizes for our seniors.  Gift cards can be from anywhere, fast food, restaurants, gas, movies, online, local retail and/or coffee.to donate, drop off in an envelope marked PRIDE to the front office at Mountain Ridge High School (Ginger & Lisa will get them to us).  We can also arrange to pick them up.  Email us at pridemrhs@gmail.com.  Donations accepted anytime between now and May 22nd.  We would be happy to take larger gift cards and prizes as well.  OUR GOAL, is 100-200 gift cards!
