DVUSD Governing Board Election Candidate Mistakenly Printed on Ballot

Please be aware when voting for the DVUSD Governing Board Election. Alexis Christensen, a school district candidate on the Maricopa County early ballot for the Deer Valley Unified School District, should not be on the ballot. This candidate withdrew from the race but due to a technical error, the county discovered her name was mistakenly printed on the ballots which have been mailed out to homes. County election officials are informing voters not to vote for this individual. Elections officials will not count votes cast for Ms. Christensen. The corrected information is available on the district website, www.dvusd.org and recorder.maricopa.gov.
