Ms. Squire’s and Mrs. Currier’s 4th Grade classes recently experienced ancient China through their Core Knowledge studies. Students have been studying the Chinese dynasties. They wore hats to protect themselves from the harsh sun. The 4th grade students created sun hats to honor these hard working country folk as part of our Chinese New Year celebration. They also created dragons, leaned about and played with tangrams, and they heard many stories of Chinese life and culture.
