Hello!

The Deer Valley Education Foundation's Teacher of the Year Program is designed to celebrate and honor the contributions of Deer Valley School District's teachers - we want to celebrate and spotlight those exceptionally skilled and dedicated teachers who have gained the respect and admiration of students, parents, and co-workers and who have the superior ability to help students achieve.

Our District is blessed with many, many teachers who possess all these qualities. Please honor these teachers by nominating them for Teacher of the Year!

Teachers who are selected as a DVEF Teacher of the Year are honored at an award ceremony and dinner on May 4th, 2011 and receive a cash award.

Candidates must be at least in their 5th year of teaching in the Deer Valley Unified School District in order to be considered for Teacher of the Year.

Nominations need to be returned to Marie Brennan, DVEF, District Office, or e-mailed to marie.brennan@dvusd.org by the end of the day on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. The nomination form and time line are attached. These forms will also be posted on the DVEF web site at http://www.dvef.org.
