Anthem Community Invited to Participate in Boulder Creek High School’s “Re-landscaping Uncommon Community Service Project”
Boulder Creek High School in the Deer Valley Unified School District in partnership with Arizona Hills Community Church and Anthem Boy Scout Troop 424 are inviting the community to participate in the “Re-landscaping Uncommon Community Service Project” on Sunday, November 28 from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Boulder Creek HS located at 40404 N. Gavilan Peak Pkwy in Anthem. Bob Lehman, Senior Pastor of Arizona Hills Community Church said, “We are grateful to be a part of such an amazing community and Boulder Creek HS is the relational hub of our community and happy to be able to give back to the school.” Community members are needed to help re-landscape large portions of the campus with cactus, boulders, gravel, plants, and greenery; participate in an all campus trash clean up; and plant a vegetable garden for the school’s special education program. A free barbecue will be provided to all volunteers. Lauren Sheahan, Principal of Boulder Creek HS stated, “We have been happy with Arizona Hills using our school for their Sunday worship service and am looking forward to this project.”
