Three DVUSD Schools Earn A+ Schools of Excellence Awards AZ Educational Foundation Recognizes Top A+ Schools
Paseo Hills, Sierra Verde, and Stetson Hills Schools, in the Deer Valley Unified School District, have been selected to receive the A+ Schools of Excellence Award by the Arizona Educational Foundation (AEF). Only 20 schools in Arizona were selected to receive this prestigious award.
The AEF�s A+ Schools of Excellence Program endeavors to improve education by identifying and recognizing outstanding Arizona public schools. The A+ Program strives to create a comprehensive framework of successful programs and practices that other schools throughout the state and nation might adopt.
A+ Schools are evaluated in the following areas: student focus and support; school culture; active teaching and learning; curriculum; leadership; community and parent involvement; and assessment data. The AEF is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that celebrates excellence in Pre-K � 12 education through community partnerships in public schools throughout Arizona.
