DVUSD Stays Open for Tax Credit Contributions

Deer Valley Unified School District (DVUSD) will open its doors on Thursday, December 31 to receive last minute tax credit contributions. Contributions will be accepted from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the District Office located at 20402 North 15th Avenue in Phoenix.

Whether your child is in school or not, you can take advantage of the credit. Everybody wins. You gain a tax credit and the school of your choice gains up to $400. If you don�t have a particular school in mind, you can make your tax credit donation directly to DVUSD. Funds contributed in this manner will be distributed to underserved schools within the district.

Keep in mind, to be eligible for an Arizona state tax credit, your contribution must be postmarked by December 31, 2009. Donations help students participate in extracurricular activities like sports, the arts, science, technology, and other activities that enrich their education and provide them with valuable life experiences.
