DVUSD Names Dr. Scott Smith as Research Director

The Deer Valley Unified School District (DVUSD) has hired Dr. Scott Smith as the new Director of Research and Data Analysis. Dr. Smith has over 20 years of risk management experience including development of risk capabilities, project management, and leading technical teams.

Dr. Smith will serve on the district�s management team and provide data analysis, manage research projects, analyze state and federal policy, propose policy positions, and take a leadership role in designing new opportunities to keep DVUSD on the cutting edge of education research and policy analysis.
