Hello DVFRC Families and Community Partners!

Thank you for your continued support of our classes and programs here at the Deer Valley Family Resource Center. We look forward to even more great experiences in the spring. We have so many amazing programs planned for you and your children coming up including: Puppet Theater, Musicology, Phoenix Zoo, KinderPrep A & B and Raising a Reader program. Along with two Conscious Discipline parent series that will be presented at Desert Sage Elementary School and Juniper Library. Conscious Discipline is a research-based program by Dr. Becky Bailey proven to:

•Shift focus from external rewards and punishments to problem solving
•Understand why preschoolers “do what they do.”
•Strengthen the quality of relationships
•Reduce power struggles by increasing skills!

• Bright Child Gifted and Mandarin Chinese Immersion Programs– DVUSD has added a Bright Child Gifted program as well as a Mandarin Chinese Immersion program for 4-year-olds.
