Hello DVFRC Families and Community Partners!

Thank you for your continued support of our classes and programs here at the Deer Valley Family Resource Center. We look forward to even more great experiences in our upcoming classes and programs. To view our webpage go to http://dvusd.org/dvfrc . To register for classes, click on the calendar, and you will see a description of the class and an option for online registration.  These early childhood education classes are FREE and provide a wonderful opportunity for your child to develop their social/emotional and language skills. In addition to our scheduled classes, we are offering two new classes this winter. ArtPlay and Fun with Fuzzy Phonemes.

ArtPlay uses feeling-based games to help kids identify and manage their emotions using sensory activities. These activities help with things such as self-soothing, empowerment and creating a positive self-identity.

Fun with Fuzzy Phonemes, parents will learn about phonemic awareness and why it is critical in beginning reading and how they can support their kiddos before they head off the Kinder. They will participate in activities that you can take home and put into place with their child.
