Learner Profile Trait for April

Barry Goldwater is an International Baccalaureate (IB) school.  As such we aspire to fulfill the traits embodied in the Learner Profile. Each month we will highlight and celebrate one of these traits.

The Learner Profile trait that we will focus on for the month of April is Knowledgeable.  We develop and use conceptual understanding, exploring knowledge across a range of disciplines.  We engage with issues and ideas that have local and global significance.

The Learner Profile Quote of the Day is:   If a man empties his purse into his head no one can take it away from him.  An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.

~ Benjamin Franklin
