Boulder Creek High School Bulletin for Monday, August 09, 2021

World Culture Club: Students if you are interested in joining the "World Culture Club", our first meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 25th from 2:20- 3:15 pm in Room 313.

Auditions for "Beauty and the Beast": Auditions for the fall musical "Beauty and the Beast" will start on August 16th and end on August 18th after school at 2:15 pm. Follow the theatre company Instagram @bchstheatreco for more information. We can’t wait to see you there!

Color Guard Sign-Ups: Color Guard Sign-Ups! Are you a performer? Do you have dance experience? It's not too late to sign up for the fall color guard! The color guard performs at all home football games and competes throughout the fall alongside the marching band. Anyone who is interesting in joining the fall competitive team should contact Ms. Eng in room 401 or email Cari.Eng@dvusd.org. The deadline for signing up is Friday, August 13th. Dance experience is encouraged but not required...we are a proud no-cut activity!

Health Hazards: Students the buildings are off-limits during your lunchtime. You are not to go into the buildings to use the restrooms, get a drink, or eat inside. There are restrooms and water fountains outside by the cafeteria for your use during lunch. Eating in the restroom is a health hazard. Thank you.

Theatre Club Meeting: “The first theatre club meeting of the year will be on August 11th in the mini auditorium or room 114 in the performing arts building after school at 2:15 pm.

Global Studies Certificate Program: Global Studies Certificate Program: ¡hola, bonjour, nihao. Global Studies will be meeting every Monday starting August 9th. If your interested in learning about other cultures, please join us at 2:20. Check out our website... www.certificateofglobalstudies.weebly.com Everyone is welcome, see you in room 145.

Cross Country: Cross Country season starts this week. Submit your information at RegisterMyAthlete.com then join us in the morning at 5:20 AM at the track. See Coach Clarke in Room 336 for any questions.

Club Rush: Attention students, Club Rush will be on Wednesday, August 11th during both 4th and 5th-hour lunch. Come out and check out each table and sign up for a club you are interested in.

Counseling Office: Just a friendly reminder, Students need to stay in class, If they do need to see a Counselor please remind them to come down before school, during their lunch, and after school. They can fill out a pass during these times, and the Counselor will get back to them. Thank you and have a great day!

Baseball Meeting: If you are interested in Baseball, there will be a meeting on Wednesday, August 11 after school at 2:15 pm in room 632. See you there.

Astrology Club; If you are interested in Astrology Club, our first meeting will be on August 18th following the end of the day at 2:15 PM in room 530. Thank you!

Yearbook News: Your Prowler staff is hard at work creating the best 2022 yearbook possible! If you have photos of the first day of school, please email them to bchsyearbookpictures@gmail.com. Don't forget to go to JostensYearbooks.com in order to purchase a book. There will be NO extra copies bought this year, so make sure to preorder soon! Prices will increase in October. Thank you!

Attention Seniors! Attention seniors! You must go to GradsPhotography.com to schedule an appointment to get your senior photo for the yearbook! They must be completed at Grads, not as the ID photos that are taken Monday. The deadline is November 19. Thanks!
