The Joaquin Bustoz Math-Science Honors Program (JBMSHP): The Joaquin Bustoz Math-Science Honors Program (JBMSHP) at Arizona State University is now accepting applications for the 2021 summer program (6/13 - 7/23). The JBMSHP is intended for mature and motivated students who are interested in academic careers requiring mathematics, science, or engineering-based coursework and who are typically underrepresented in those fields of study. ASU Cesar E. Chavez Leadership Institute: The Arizona State University Cesar E. Chavez Leadership Institute is a high-energy leadership program for sophomores and juniors. Selected students participate in a one week program (July 12 - 16) at ASU in workshops and activities exploring higher education, leadership development, and community engagement. The Barrett Summer Scholars (BSS) program: The Barrett Summer Scholars (BSS) program provides students with the opportunity to experience college firsthand and prepare for enrollment and success at Arizona State University and Barrett, the Honors College. The program is designed for academically talented and motivated students entering the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade in Fall 2021. United States Naval Academy (USNA): United States Naval Academy (USNA) is offering a Summer Seminar for 9th -11th graders to experience life at the Academy and kick-start your application journey for an appointment to the Academy. West-Mec: West-MEC Updates: The Physical Therapy Technician program is now available for Sophomores to apply in addition to Juniors and Seniors. Please share this information with your Sophomore students! The EMT program will be a year-long program in 2021-2022. This is now available for Sophomores to apply in addition to Juniors! With the registration fee of $350, students will now receive the needed books and 19 college credits through this program. We have added Nursing Services to our 2021-2022 program offerings. This one year program available for Juniors and Seniors to apply leads to an LNA certification and will be offered at our Northwest Campus from 7-9:30 am and 1-3:30 pm.
The Anthem Cares Through Service Scholarship Program: If you are a current high school senior looking for scholarships; The Anthem Cares Through Service Scholarship Program is offering up to five, $2,000 scholarships to Boulder Creek High School seniors planning on attending college that have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Come by the counseling office to pick up the application and submit it to your counselor by April 15th.

Governor's Youth Commission (GYC): Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors! Do you have a passion for service and leadership? The Governor's Office of Youth, Faith, and Family (GOYFF) is seeking inspiring youth leaders from Arizona high schools to serve on the 2021-2022 Governor's Youth Commission (GYC). ASU Workshop: Seniors! Attending ASU in the fall, ASU is offering a NEXT STEPS workshop on February 25 at 3 pm and March 2 at 4:00 pm. You must pre register to attend, just visit the counseling web page and click on the virtual college visits link.
Prescott College workshops: Love the outdoors? Maybe cooler weather? Check out Prescott College! Prescott College is offering a variety of workshops and has a unique orientation experience. More information can be found on the counseling web site under the virtual college visits link.
