Class of 2021 "Cap & Gown Pictures": ATTENTION CLASS OF 2021 Grads Photography is our official yearbook Senior Portrait Photographer. Hispanic Heritage Foundation grants: The Hispanic Heritage Foundation's (HHF) 2020 Youth Awards educational grants program is now accepting applications! Our 22nd Annual Youth Awards will award students who are in the graduating Class of 2021 with up to $1000 in educational grants to fund their higher education or a community-based project. Recipients will be selected for their accomplishments in the classroom, community and for their excellence in various educational categories. Recipients will also be celebrated in virtual ceremonies. The deadline to apply is December 6th, 2020. Students can apply and find more information at www.HispanicHeritage.org. Free Breakfast and Lunch for Students: Attention Students, your school cafeteria is serving free breakfast and lunch to all students through December. Please take advantage of the wonderful food that our school cafeteria workers are making.

Picture Re-Takes: Picture Re-takes for students returning to on-campus in January 2021 or that have missed picture day will have the opportunity to take pictures on January 11th.

NIAAA Scholar Athlete Award: National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) Scholar-Athlete Award is looking for one girl and one boy for this award. The essay application is attached to this email. The deadline to submit is January 15th, 2021. All applications and essays need to be sent to Julie.patton@guhsdaz.org.

Youth Leadership Organization (HOBY): Calling all Sophomores! HOBY (Youth Leadership Organization) is hosting a 3-4 day leadership seminar for our current sophomores in June (dates TBA) at the ASU West Campus. This program provides students with unique leadership training, service-learning, and motivation-building experiences. "Fall in Love with BC" Spirit Week November 16-20: Mon 11/16 - Zoom Day - Wear your coziest pajamas or comfy clothes! Tue 11/17 - Game Day - Represent any sport--on campus or off--with a jersey, team merchandise, or workout clothes! Wed 11/18 - Club Day - Wear your glasses and rock the preppy/mathlete look // wear a club shirt to rep one of our many academic, service, or interest-based clubs on campus! Thur 11/19 - Broadway Bound - Be the star that you are--represent any of our awesome performing arts // dress like a celebrity/superstar! Fri 11/20 - Jag Pride - Show that jag pride with black & red, any BCHS shirt, or jag print! Remind your students to participate and dress up yourself--that's half the fun! Brainstorming ideas with the students or offering incentives for participating can also encourage students to participate. StuGo plans to give shout-outs on social media for people participating.

Conroy Scholars Scholarship Program: The New Mexico State University Arizona Admissions team is hosting a special virtual event to introduce students to the new Dean of the Conroy Honors College, Dr. Phame Camarena! This will take place on Thursday, November 19th from 3:00 pm–4:00 pm MST. Dr. Camarena will discuss the amazing benefits of being a New Mexico State Honors College student and announce our new Conroy Scholars Scholarship program! Arizona Students and families are welcome to attend this informative webinar. Arizona residents pay in-state tuition at NMSU and may be eligible for merit scholarships. Thanksgiving Meal: Attentions student and staff, the Cafeteria is serving their wonderful Thanksgiving Meal on Thursday, November 20 during lunches. Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Buttered Corn, Dried Cranberries, dinner roll, and Pumpkin Piew w/whip cream, yummy!
